LIBBY – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says a 75-year-old Troy man has been arrested on suspicion of deliberate homicide after he reported the death of a woman who police say appears to have died of a gunshot wound.
Authorities say James Louis Bonifas was taken into custody Friday after he called police and told them his daughter has passed away during the night.
Police say emergency responders found 41-year-old Suzanne Kay Campbell dead with a gunshot wound.
Bonifas remained at the residence after making the call, and he was taken into custody.
He was being held at the Lincoln County Detention Center.
