Tebow Tickets ‘Essentially’ Sell Out in 72 Hours

Stillwater Christian School sold 2,100 tickets in about 72 hours to a March fundraiser featuring Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow in Kalispell, according to a school administrator.

Craig Hunnicutt, the school’s development director, said the event was “essentially” sold out and sales were put on hold at 1:30 p.m. on Friday after the school reached its planned capacity. The school sold 1,300 banquet seats and 800 youth group bleacher seats, he said. A few sponsor tables remain and can be purchased for $2,500, he added.

Tickets went on sale Tuesday after the school announced Tebow would be speaking at the Flathead County Fairgrounds Trade Center on March 7 for an event titled, “For Such a Time as This, an Evening with Tim Tebow.” Proceeds from the event go to Stillwater.

Hunnicutt said the school is still accepting names for a waiting list in case more seats are made available. Tables of eight were sold for $1,000 ($125/seat) and youth group seats were $35 a piece.
