Kalispell, Whitefish to Induct New Hall of Fame Members

Both Kalispell and Whitefish have upcoming Hall of Fame induction ceremonies recognizing former standout athletes and coaches and longtime supporters of high school athletics.

The Legends Wall of Fame is adding five new members at halftime of Thursday’s cross-town basketball game between Glacier and Flathead.

The latest class of inductees includes Jamison Banna, Mark Gilman, Bob Raeth, Alice Ritzman and Scott Zanon. Click here for complete bios of each inductee. The ceremony will be held during halftime of the girls basketball game at Flathead High School.The game begins at 6 p.m. and is followed by the boys game.

Whitefish High School is inducting its own group of new hall of famers during the Whitefish-Columbia Falls basketball games on Feb. 11.

Johanna Closson, John Fleming, William H. Hileman and Krista Kuchenbrod Schulz will be honored after the conclusion of the girls basketball game, which begins at 5:30 p.m. A reception will follow the games at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course. Here’s bios for the newest members of the Whitefish Hall of Fame.

Glacier High honored this year’s Wall of Fame inductees from the class of 2011 on Dec. 22. The group of 16 included Joel Horn, Patty Hughes, Quinn Maroney, Boyce Ballard, Draylen Askvig, Rachel Cutler, Bryan Chery, Brittany Franklin, Trey Griffith, Cami Mathison, Liana Bates, Kendra Bouley, Brandon Simpson, Clayton McDougall and Caroline Houser.
