Four Hurt After Fall from Big Sky Resort Chair Lift

By Beacon Staff

BOZEMAN – Officials say a ski instructor and three children fell from a ski lift at Big Sky Resort but were not seriously injured.

A resort official says it’s unclear what caused the four to fall off the Ramcharger Lift on Saturday.

Resort spokesman Chad Jones tells KTVM-TV that there didn’t appear to be a mechanical problem with the chair lift. He says fresh snow below the lift might have cushioned the fall.

A spokeswoman at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital on Sunday said the four arrived at the hospital after the fall on Saturday. She says all have been discharged, but declined to say the extent of the injuries or on which day they were discharged.
