Amber Alert Issued for Missing Evergreen Girl

By Beacon Staff

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Amber Alert for Jasmine Walker, a 12-year-old girl from Evergreen who has been missing since 9 p.m. on Monday night.

Walker is 5-feet-1-inch, 115 pounds and has long, brown hair. Her mother last saw her on Feb. 13 at 9 p.m. at their Evergreen home, and believes Walker may have sneaked out of the house during the night.

According to Sheriff Chuck Curry, authorities believe Walker had developed an online relationship with Edgard “Eddie” Le, a 27-year-old man from California. They believe Le drove to Montana to pick Walker up.

They are believed to be traveling in a black 1996 Honda Accord two door, bearing the California license plate 4HVX229.

Walker and Le may be traveling back to California, but their destination is unknown.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office at 406-758-5585 or their local law enforcement office.
