Flathead County officials say two California men who were arrested when FBI agents located a missing Montana girl face custodial interference charges.
FBI agents recovered 12-year-old Jasmine Walker of Evergreen south of Las Vegas on Tuesday afternoon. She was last seen Monday night and an Amber Alert was issued Tuesday, indicating she might be traveling with 28-year-old Edgard Le of Escondido, Calif.
Sheriff Chuck Curry says Le and 37-year-old Dennis Nelson of San Diego face custodial interference charges in Flathead County and an investigation could lead to other charges.
Curry says it appears Le developed an online friendship with the girl and that he and Nelson traveled to Montana to pick her up.
Curry says the girl’s father was going to fly down and pick her up on Wednesday.
