Fort Bragg Soldier from Montana Killed in Attack

FORT BRAGG, N.C. – The military says a soldier based at Fort Bragg was killed while fighting in Afghanistan.

The Defense Department said Sunday that 31-year-old Spc. Antonio C. Burnside of Great Falls, Mont., died Friday of injuries suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire.

He was assigned to the 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 82nd Airborne Division.
