Police say a Whitefish man suspected of beating a Great Falls man and stealing his sport utility vehicle took off his clothes and mooned officers who were trying to arrest him in Whitefish.
Police Chief Bill Dial says officers stopped a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Matthew Lamb on Tuesday night because Lamb had a $50,000 warrant for strong-armed robbery in Cascade County.
Dial says 24-year-old Sidney Aimsback of Vaughn was arrested without incident. She was identified as one of the suspects by the beating victim.
But when officers tried to arrest Lamb, police say he stripped, screamed and told them, “Go ahead and shoot me.”
Lamb was shocked with a stun gun and arrested.
Dial says officers recovered belongings from the victim’s home, including a safe that had been opened.
