Kalispell Native Choreographs Viral Proposal Video

By Beacon Staff

For anyone thinking of proposing to their significant other, Isaac Lamb of Portland, Ore., with the help of a Kalispell native, just set the bar high. Really high.

Last week, Lamb proposed to his girlfriend, Amy Frankel, with an elaborate lip-dub performance set to the Bruno Mars song “Marry You.” Helping coordinate and choreograph more than 60 dancers, who took to the streets of a Portland neighborhood, was Kalispell native and Flathead High School graduate (class of ’99) Gina Johnson Morris. You can watch the video below. Johnson Morris is the woman in red.

The people dancing in the streets were friends of Lamb (including Johnson Morris), family and local actors. It didn’t take long for the video to take off on YouTube and by Tuesday afternoon it had more than 5.7 million views.

And for the record, Lamb apologized for setting the bar so high when the happy couple appeared on the “Today” show this morning.
