MISSOULA – New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will be in Missoula next week raising money for Republican Rick Hill’s campaign for governor.
The Hill campaign says that Christie will speak to donors next Friday at the Hilton Garden Inn. Tickets start at $150 and go up to $630 or more for a photo with the governor.
Hill spokesman Brock Lowrance says that the campaign is thrilled to have one of the biggest stars in the Republican Party discuss his no-nonsense approach.
Christie is expected to play a big role at the Republican National Convention in August, and has also said recently that he would consider running for president in 2016 if Romney loses this year.
Hill is battling Attorney General Steve Bullock, a Democrat, for the governor’s seat in Montana.
