A woman driving an SUV on Aug. 20 flipped her vehicle when trying to avoid two motorcycles near Hutton Ranch in Kalispell.
The accident slowed traffic on U.S. Highway 93 in front of the Flathead Valley Community College campus as police officers and firefighters cleaned up the scene.
According to Kalispell Fire Chief Dave Dedman, the woman overcorrected and the vehicle flipped on its side in the middle of the four-lane highway. The woman was taken to the hospital after being cut out of the vehicle. The two people on motorcycles walked away from the accident uninjured.
The accident is under investigation.
