A limited number of tickets for the Oct. 17 governor debate at Flathead Valley Community College will be available Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Flathead Beacon office.
The tickets are free and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limit two tickets per person.
Democratic Attorney General Steve Bullock and former Republican Congressman Rick Hill have agreed to participate in the debate scheduled for 7 p.m. on Oct. 17. Those attending are asked to arrive at FVCC’s Arts and Technology Building by 6:45 p.m. FVCC, AARP and the Flathead Beacon are sponsoring the debate.
Beacon editor-in-chief Kellyn Brown and senior writer Myers Reece will be moderating and asking questions at the debate, which is expected to last one-and-a-half hours.
The Flathead Beacon office is located at 217 Main Street in Kalispell. The debate will be live streamed at flatheadbeacon.com.
