Wolfpack Hold Fifth-Place Ranking in Football Poll

Glacier held its fifth-place ranking in the latest Associated Press Class AA football poll, released today.

Last week the Wolfpack piled up 50 points or more for the third game in a row and won its fifth-straight, routing Great Falls 56-0.

Glacier (6-2) hosts Helena Capital (5-3) in their final home game of the season at Legends Stadium on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m.

Bozeman (5-3) beat Flathead (0-8) last week 49-7. The Braves travel to Great Falls to play C.M. Russell this week.

Bigfork (6-1) fell to eighth in the Class B rankings after losing its first game of the season to Missoula Loyola. The undefeated Rams jumped ahead 35-0 in the first half last Friday and won 49-0. In other Class B action, Eureka (3-4 overall, 3-0 in conference) dominated Thompson Falls, 39-13.

In Class A, unbeaten Polson is ranked third. The Pirates (7-0) beat Libby last week 44-0. Frenchtown (4-2, 2-1) beat Columbia Falls (3-6,1-2), 42-6. Belgrade edged Whitefish (3-6,1-2), 27-21.
