Cornelius Hedges Elementary School is holding a brand new craft fair this Saturday at its playground near downtown Kalispell from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event replaces the Halloween carnival. The craft fair will bring a variety of local vendors and other community members, creating an air of excitement for parents and students.
“When we first discussed holding a fall festival, we knew it was going to be unlike anything we had tried before,” Hedges Principal Casey Bertram said in a news release. “But it has generated good ideas and we hope the community will respond positively.”
The event will include local craft vendors, carnival games, food vendors, face painting, a silent auction and fire truck and ambulance tours. The event is being sponsored by the Hedges School PTO and admission is free. The special carnival games area is $2.00 per child, or $5.00 per family.
Hedges school gear will also be available for purchase, as well as a booth with raffle tickets to win a brand new Toyota truck in a drawing later this fall. All community members are welcome to attend. For more information call 751-4090.
