FVCC Presents Free Community Concerts

By Beacon Staff

Flathead Valley Community College announced this week that it will be hosting periodic free concerts for the community. The first “Gig at the Grounds” concert will be on Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. near the Campus Grounds coffee bar inside the Arts and Technology Building.

The concerts are part of FVCC’s expanding music program and the first show will feature music instructors Steve Eckels, Amy Chisholm and Kim Steiner.

“The feel will be very casual – sort of a coffee house atmosphere,” said Karla West, FVCC music program coordinator. “We want the community to have an opportunity to enjoy the broad variety of talent we have in our music program at FVCC.”
