Human Remains Found in Pablo

PABLO — Officials in Lake County say two children found some partially skeletonized human remains in a wooded area of Pablo over the weekend.

KECI-TV reports the remains were found at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Lake County officers and Salish and Kootenai tribal police responded. The remains were taken to the state crime lab in Missoula for identification.

Officials say the remains appear to be those of a Caucasian man. They had been outdoors for a long period of time.
