Finally, it’s Election Day

By Beacon Staff

To the relief of just about everyone who lives in Montana and has witnessed the barrage of political advertisements over the last year, Election Day has finally arrived.

Polling locations are now open across Flathead County and close at 8 p.m. A lot is on the line this year. Montanans will choose their next governor, U.S. representative and U.S. senator, along with several other statewide positions. Locally, two new county commissioners will be chosen.

Flathead Beacon staffers will be working late, well into Wednesday morning, hoping to provide the most up-to-date results on our website and in this week’s newspaper. Our deadlines have been extended to accommodate this, and our print edition will be delivered late, beginning at 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.

For more information, visit the Flathead County Election Department. And remember, go vote!
