Intoxicated Man

8:54 a.m. Several mailboxes on Sullivan Cross Road in Columbia Falls were reportedly “demolished.”

9:31 a.m. A Hungry Horse man reported that two dogs came into his yard. At the time of the call they had moved on to the street where they could be found resting comfortably.

12:16 p.m. A Bigfork woman claimed that her neighbor’s dog attempted to attack her but did not injure her.

1:18 p.m. Someone called from the old steel bridge area to report that a small man in a bright yellow jacket was “jacked up” and yelling at another man, accusing him of child molestation. The caller thought that that the aggravated man and his wife, who was sitting in their car, were both “out of it.” The small man was later arrested for violating his probation.

1:53 p.m. Someone reported that their “crazy” neighbor who typically roams the woods at night was outside shooting his gun.

2:24 p.m. A man dressed entirely in black was reportedly patrolling an Evergreen parking lot harassing customers with his incessant questions. He was given a ride back to Hungry Horse.

5:24 p.m. Someone in a red pickup was reportedly driving like a “lunatic” down Highway 2.

6:17 p.m. A local spectator reported watching an intoxicated man fall out of his vehicle.

8:30 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman reported that a man wearing a hood and sunglasses was standing in her driveway holding a chainsaw.
