The 23rd annual Christmas Dinner at Our House community appreciation meal is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Montana National Guard Armory in Kalispell. Meals will be served from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The free event is open to all Flathead Valley residents. Santa Claus always makes an appearance with something special for the children. Last year, 3,400 people attended the event.
This year’s dinner is even more poignant since the Kalispell-based 495th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion was deployed in early November.
The event is a joint effort between the Montana National Guard and local businesses, including Meadow Gold Dairy, Plum Creek, Kalispell Toyota and Pepsi.
