The Thunderbirds are returning to the skies of the Flathead Valley this summer for a two-day air show, the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday.
The U.S. Air Force released its schedule for the Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron and it includes performances July 20-21 at Glacier Park International Airport. The action-packed event will feature Air Force Captain Jason Curtis, a native of Kalispell, who will be flying the opposing solo jet during the performances.
“This show will bring thousands of visitors to the Flathead Valley and provide a great fundraising opportunity to local non-profits,” Chamber President Joe Unterreiner said in the announcement.
