The Glacier Nordic Club is accepting memberships for the winter season.

A membership costs $110 for a family and $50 for an individual and supports the grooming of the trails at the Glacier Nordic Center at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course. Either a membership or a day pass is required to ski at the Nordic Center. Memberships may be purchased at the Glacier Nordic Club Kiosk at the Golf Course or mailed in with the form available on the website – glaciernordicclub.com. Day passes are available either at the Kiosk or in Glacier Cyclery’s Nordic Shop at the Nordic Center.

The team meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30 p.m. and practice classic and skate ski techniques. Skiers can race in local and regional races. The cost is $235.

The Chet Hope Youth League for ages 4 to teens and the Junior Jets for ages 7 to 11 starts in January. The Chet Hope Youth League meets for seven Saturdays, starting Jan. 12, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The cost is $40 for members and $45 for non-members. Junior Jets runs from Jan. 8 through early March on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30 p.m. Jets learn to skate and classic ski and improve their technique though games. The cost is $135.

Gear rentals are available for all programs and scholarships are available for the Junior Jets and Chet Hope Youth League.
