A 27-year-old Arizona man was killed early Sunday morning after his car hit a light pole on U.S. Highway 93 near the Mountain Mall in Whitefish.
Bryan Melling was from Scottsdale, Arizona but had recently been living in Whitefish. He was driving north and was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the Flathead County Sherriff’s Office. Law enforcement was investigating the cause of the accident, but said speed was a factor.
