Columbia Falls Historical Society Holds Cowboy Christmas Ball

Ball to be held on Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Montana Veterans Home chapel

The Columbia Falls Historical Society will be putting on its first Christmas Cowboy Ball on Saturday, Dec. 29 at the chapel service building at the Montana Veterans Home. The event is a fundraiser for the upstart historical society.

Festivities kick off at 8 p.m. and entertainment will include Mountain Meadow String Band, which features six-time state champion fiddler Steven Stafford. Attendees are encouraged to wear traditional 1800s dress and prizes will be handed out for the most authentic costume. Tickets are $30 a piece or $50 for couples. A ticket also includes a free photo at the Old Time Photo booth.
