Two western Montana residents have claimed top prizes from scratch lottery games.
Montana Lottery officials say Ronna Sweeney of Columbia Falls claimed a $50,000 prize in the “Slingo Trio” scratch game on Thursday. She purchased her winning ticket at Super 1 Foods in Columbia Falls. She says she plans to use her money to pay bills and make sure her children have an extra special Christmas.
John Thompson of Missoula claimed a $10,000 top prize in the “Cash It In Bingo” game on Tuesday. He says he plans to pay bills and buy Christmas presents.
