HELENA — The Montana and Montana State men’s basketball teams have learned their opponents for this year’s ESPN BracketBusters games.

Montana will travel to Davidson, N.C., to play the Davidson Wildcats on Feb. 23 in a game that will be shown on ESPNU. The game tips off at 1 p.m. Mountain time. The Grizzlies are ranked 14th in the Mid-Major Top 25, have a 16-4 record and are leading the Big Sky Conference with a 12-0 mark.

Montana coach Wayne Tinkle says the national TV exposure is good for the program.

Montana State will host South Dakota on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. Montana State has a 10-10 record while South Dakota is 8-15.

There are 122 teams competing in the 11th and final BracketBusters event, which was staged to give teams from smaller conferences national television exposure just ahead of the NCAA Tournament selection.
