Paolini Leads Stillwater Christian to Third Straight Title

Morgan Paolini had 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead Stillwater Christian to its third straight girls basketball championship at the Montana Christian Athletic Association state tournament in Helena last weekend.

The Cougars capped another remarkable season with a 20-2 record and the title after defeating Foothills Community Christian School 56-41 in the championship match.

Jordan Danz chipped in 15 points, nine assists and seven rebounds for Stillwater. Sarah Paolini had seven points, McKenzie Hemp had four and Kathryn Jentz and Serena Koch added two apiece.

The Cougars led 19-17 at halftime and outscored Foothills 37-24 in the second half.

Stillwater has now won four of the last five girls basketball titles.
