The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office has identified the Kalispell man killed in a single-vehicle rollover shortly before midnight on March 2.
John Thomas Paine, 29, was eastbound on U.S. Highway 2, west of Kalispell, shortly before midnight on Saturday when, due to his speed, he failed to negotiate a curve in the highway. His car slid off the north side of the road and rolled several times, coming to rest on its roof.
Paine was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
