HELENA – A 42-year-old Condon woman was killed and her passenger injured in a one-vehicle crash on Montana Highway 83 about 10 miles north of Seeley Lake.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the woman was driving a van northbound shortly after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday when she failed to negotiate a left hand turn. The van went off the road, through a ditch and became airborne. The van came down on the right side of the road, the driver overcorrected to the left and the vehicle crossed the road, struck and went over the guardrail and hit a tree.
Missoula County officials tell the Missoulian the victim was Amber Nicole Ohman Snider. She had an Oregon identification but lived in Condon.
Her 33-year-old male passenger was hospitalized in Missoula.
