HELENA — Gov. Steve Bullock has appointed his predecessor’s natural resources director to the state Board of Oil and Gas Conservation.
Mary Sexton led the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation under Gov. Brian Schweitzer. Gov. Steve Bullock replaced her with John Tubbs of Helena when he took office in January.
On Friday, Bullock appointed Sexton to the seven-member oil-and-gas board.
In addition to Sexton, Bullock named to the board John Evans of Butte, Linda Nelson of Medicine Lake and Wayne Smith of Valier.
Board members serve four-year terms.
