Karly Tait has stepped down after four seasons as the head girls basketball coach at Flathead High School.
Tait turned in her resignation earlier this week, according to the school’s activities department. The school district posted the position on Thursday and will start reviewing applications May 10.
The Bravettes were 31-52 under Tait. This past season, Flathead won its most games in five years and also qualified for the state tournament for the first time since 2008.
Tait, a former Polson High standout, was promoted to head coach a year after the team went 2-18 in 2009.
