Along the shores of Flathead Lake you’ll find the Elmo Fishing Access Site, one of many spots south of Kalispell where you can enjoy everything the lake has to offer.
The 13-acre site is located right along U.S. Highway 93, just north of Elmo, and is open year-round.
The site includes fishing access, a dock, a boat ramp, restrooms and, of course, stunning views of the surrounding area.
Another perk of the Elmo site is how close it is to other great recreational spots. Going north of Elmo will take you to the West Shore State Park and just a few miles south will take you to Big Arm State Park.
Nearby Lake Mary Ronan is another awesome spot to enjoy some time on the water.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks maintains the Elmo Fishing Access Site. For more information, visit www.fwp.mt.gov.
How to get there:
Drive south from Kalispell on U.S. Highway 92 for 26 miles, along the west shore of Flathead Lake.
The Elmo fishing site entrance is located on the left.
