Missing Squirrels

7:37 a.m. Sometime during the early morning, someone drove off in a golf cart that was parked at an Evergreen store.

8:34 a.m. A child rode his bike directly into a light pole on Eighth Avenue West in Columbia Falls.

9:25 a.m. A Caroline Drive resident reported that two squirrel yard decorations were stolen from her yard.

9:30 p.m. A resident of Wolf Tail Pines Road in Whitefish found a red piece of paper with a knife stuck through it reading that a reward would be offered to whoever found the murderer of a service dog.

10:39 p.m. An irritated Two Mile Drive resident reported that their neighbor was shooting a gun.

2:07 p.m. A concerned Kalispell woman reported that while she was talking to another woman on the telephone, she thought she heard the woman say the word “Unabomber.”

6:31 p.m. A man on Goat Trail in Whitefish reported that another man habitually drives by in his truck and chucks his empty beer cans into his yard.

12:10 a.m. Someone watched the driver of a large black pickup toss a beer bottle out of the window as he swerved down Highway 40 near Columbia Falls.
