HELENA — Nearly all of the Montana and Montana State football games will be televised this fall by either Root Sports or Max Media of Montana.

The University of Montana says all 12 of its games will be televised while 11 of MSU’s 12 games will be on TV.

Max Media will broadcast eight Griz games including the Aug. 31 season opener against Appalachian State that kicks off at 7 p.m. and the Oct. 26 home game against Eastern Washington. The four games broadcast by Root include the Cat-Griz game in Bozeman on Nov. 23.

Max Media will broadcast all of Montana State’s home games with the exception Cat-Griz. Root also will carry MSU games at Weber State, Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington.

Max Media will carry the games to its ABC and FOX stations in Missoula, Kalispell, Butte, Bozeman, Great Falls and Helena and the NBC station in Billings.
