MISSOULA — A 59-year-old Blackfoot Valley man died in a one-vehicle rollover crash on Montana 200 near Ovando.
Missoula County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jeremiah Petersen says several drivers called 911 around 10 a.m. Sunday to report a sport utility vehicle driving erratically. Not long after that, the SUV went off the road, landing with its back bumper in the Blackfoot River.
The driver died at the scene. His name has not been released.
The crash was one of four in western Montana over the weekend that claimed 11 lives.
