Close, convenient and spectacular – those are the best ways to describe Whitefish Lake State Park.
Located on 10 acres of land near its namesake lake, the park is perfect for swimming and fishing.
There are 25 campsites, so you can get away from it all and still be within earshot of home. The sites can accommodate tents and RVs and have fire rings.
There is a group area, boat ramp, firewood, public phone, restrooms, showers and drinking water.
There is also a new hiker/biker campsite, just for those traveling with a tent.
The surrounding woodland provides a secluded setting for the beach and campground.
The campground is open year round and standard use fees apply for camping and out-of-state visitors.

How to get there:
Traveling from downtown Whitefish, drive a mile west on U.S. Highway 93.
Turn right on State Park Road and drive a mile north.
Crossing the railroad tracks, the state park entrance is on the left.
