6:10 a.m. Reportedly, five dogs barked for an extended period of time in Hungry Horse.

9:32 a.m. A Bigfork man complained that because his neighbor tore his fence down 25 years ago, his animals often escape.

11:08 a.m. A Somers woman reported that her neighbor’s devious chickens often break free of their pen and defecate on her porch.

1:22 p.m. One miniature horse was at large on Foothill Road.

1:58 p.m. A woman on Days Acres Lane reported that two loose dogs chased her mother’s cat.

3:51 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that his soon-to-be ex has left him numerous vulgar messages.

4:08 p.m. An intoxicated Whitefish man reported that his elderly father, also intoxicated, beat him with his cane. He did not need medical assistance.

5:20 p.m. An injured chicken was found lodged between a fence and a set of stairs on Eighth Avenue East.

7:32 p.m. Loud explosions were heard on Austin Street in Kalispell.

10:51 p.m. A West Cottonwood Drive resident called 911 and requested with urgency that deputies put an end to the early Fourth of July celebrations.

10:52 p.m. Someone on Shady Lane is not interested in hearing any more fireworks.

11:13 p.m. A woman on Flathead Drive reported hearing two gun shots, although she couldn’t be sure that they were not fireworks.

11:29 p.m. A Shady Lane man complained that his ex-girlfriend covered his door handle with grease.
