8:24 a.m. A Whitefish woman reported that her dog was attacked after it stopped by to welcome a new pit bull to the neighborhood. She was advised to keep her dog in its own yard.
12:31 p.m. An irate woman on Highway 35 in Kalispell called 911 during an argument in which she was “told what to do and didn’t like it.”
12:40 p.m. A dog on Frontier Trail reportedly killed a few rabbits and chased some horses.
1:22 p.m. A Van Sant Road resident complained that someone started his entire pack of fireworks on fire.
4:27 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that he loaned his grandmother $523 and she is now refusing to repay him.
4:53 p.m. A woman reported that her boyfriend took her wallet and kicked her out of the car while it was stopped at an intersection.
5:51 p.m. Someone reported that a Canadian in an Escalade made numerous bad passes and drove erratically down Highway 93 South into Whitefish.
7:28 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that he often sees both live and dead cats on Whitefish Stage Road. He theorized that the multitude of cats belong to someone who lives in the woods.
10:23 p.m. A man fell off of his bike on Center Street.
10:36 p.m. Reportedly, children were on the roof of the Helena Flats School shooting roman candles at one another.
11:48 p.m. A kid holding a gas can was spotted running by a firework stand and “hiding in the shadows” near Meridian Road.
12:43 a.m. A number of patrons in a Lakeside bar suspected that a man who had been drinking there throughout the day was likely the escaped Deer Lodge prisoner. Their assumptions were inaccurate.
