By Beacon Staff

After both tied the record for the lowest score in tournament history, Kramer Hickok of Plano, Texas, held off Tom Swanson of Missoula in a two-hole playoff to win the 77th annual Fourth of July golf tournament at Whitefish Lake Golf Club on July 6.

Hickok parred the second playoff hole and carded 66-69-69 — 204 to win the popular tournament. Both Hickok and Swanson were 10-under after 54 holes, which tied the tournament record set in 2004 by Jeff Ballard of Billings.
