Lessor, Morton Finish in Top Five at Montana 200

Jonathon Gomez of Twin Falls, Idaho, cruised to victory in the 23rd annual Montana 200 at Montana Raceway Park on July 20.

Gomez began in the No. 4 spot, grabbed the lead with 76 laps to go and earned his first victory at the premier motor race in the state for Super Late Models.

Kalispell’s Alex Lessor finished runner-up. Owen Riddle of Naches, Wash., placed third. Cameron Hayley of Calgary placed fourth. Kalispell’s Bodie Morton earned fifth. Trevor Emond of Leduc, Alberta was sixth. Ryan Wells of Hingham was seventh. Dave Garber of Spokane was eighth. Nicole Behar of Otis Orchards, Wash., was ninth. Kalispell’s Agni Howell placed 10th.
