Flathead Drag Race Event Travels to Anaconda

This year’s Flathead Drag Race Challenge is being held at the closest track in the state, which is in Anaconda.

Organizers are expecting more than 50 cars racing in the event, Aug. 3

It costs $35.00 to enter. Participants receive a T-shirt and a chance to drag race in the Lost Creek Raceway. Last year 35 cars showed up from the Flathead Valley to participate at the event, which was held in Spokane.

First place wins $500. Second earns $300 and third and 4th get $100 each. This race is only open to those living in Flathead County and the north part of Lake County.
