7:15 a.m. Several head of cattle were seen ambling along Foothilll Road.

8:55 a.m. A Bigfork woman called in to talk about bats and rabies.

11:33 a.m. A woman on Helena Flats Road claimed that a woman she has a restraining order against messed with her satellite dish and let her horse out the “wrong door.” This, she imagines, was done solely to annoy her.

11:47 a.m. Hitchhikers were reportedly hassling drivers on Highway 93 South.

12:56 p.m. A Somers woman found a bat in her stairwell and worried about contracting rabies.

2:17 p.m. A 911 call was made regarding someone holding up traffic during an attempt to round up three loose chihuahuas on Three Mile Drive.

2:39 p.m. A man was seen driving down Highway 93 South with a 32-ounce Bud Light in hand.

7:03 p.m. A woman on Steeles Drive reported that magazine salesman asked her daughter a number of “weird” questions concerning her dog.

7:55 p.m. Reportedly, an irate man on Swan Hill Drive blocked traffic as he stood in the road yelling and swinging his ax. This, apparently, was over the amount of dust kicked up by a passing driver.

8:53 p.m. A Somers woman reported that the neighbor’s chickens escaped and wandered into her yard again.

11:13 p.m. A dog on Kokanee Bend barked for approximately five hours.

12:36 p.m. A Habbin Hill Road resident reported that a handful of squatters were in his driveway. The squatters were actually teenagers and were picked up and returned to their parents.

4:12 a.m. Someone called in from Hungry Horse after seeing a suspicious man dressed in camouflage out riding his four-wheeler.
