Unhappy Dog

9:11 a.m. A Somers resident left their garbage can in the road.

11:05 a.m. Someone on Ashley Road had what could only be described as a “horrible noise machine” turned up to an excessive volume.

11:52 a.m. A resident of Saphire Court in Whitefish reported that a cat had been stuck in a tree since Saturday.

1:10 p.m. A dog on Conrad Drive might be too small for its kennel.

1:29 p.m. Reportedly, a man carrying a bike through an apartment complex scurried quickly through his door when confronted about the bike. The caller suspected that it had been stolen.

2:00 p.m. Someone called in to complain that a Hungry Horse man had his dog on a short leash with only a scrap of carpet to lie on. The dog owner claimed that his dog is happy and enjoys greeting the tourists. The caller maintained that the dog is “unhappy.”

2:23 p.m. A tenant on Dillon Road in Whitefish reported that her landlord barged through her door and pushed her. The landlord denied the accusation.

7:18 p.m. Reportedly, a small terrier routinely torments the neighborhood of Elk Trail in the Whitefish area. According to one resident who was recently bitten, the small dog often charges and bites anyone who ventures near it.

7:24 p.m. Someone reported witnessing a large woman carry her dog upside down by its legs.

9:34 p.m. A resident on Highway 82 reported that his neighbor was hitting golf balls into his house.

10:46 p.m. Reportedly, a barking dog was seen standing on the roof of a house on Tamarack Drive.

11:46 p.m. Three drunken men, each holding either a hammer or a crowbar, were fighting in the parking lot of a local bar. They drove off before injuries could be assessed.
