The second annual Montana Dragon Boat Festival is upon us. More than 10,000 people are expected to converge on Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork for the festivities on Saturday and Sunday.
Organizers of the event are still trying to gather volunteers to help both days. Vonnie Day with the Kalispell Convention & Visitor Bureau said volunteers are needed from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday.
“This is a very fun, active assignment and requires individuals who are comfortable lifting,” she said.
Everyone who commits to a five-hour shift will receive a VIP on-site parking pass and free lunch.
