Trapped Bat

7:02 a.m. A black horse was seen standing at the entrance of a school on Helena Flats Road. It was taken home.

7:16 a.m. A woman on Tamarack Lane reported that someone broke into her vehicle and stole a Diet Coke, $12, and possibly her wedding band.

9:49 a.m. A three-legged dog was seen running through a parking lot in Kila. It was captured and taken to the shelter.

10:47 a.m. The owner of a dog who was bitten by a muskrat wondered what type of precautions she needed to take for her pet.

2:50 p.m. A drunk with an attitude was stumbling down Highway 2 in West Glacier thumbing for a ride.

3:26 p.m. A Lakeside man spotted a “Russian helicopter.”

3:50 p.m. An assertive little Chihuahua was on the loose again on School Addition Road in Somers.

3:57 p.m. A Kalispell woman trapped a bat in her shed. It was released by the animal warden.

9:07 p.m. A man on Holt Stage reported that a low-flying hot air balloon pilot released the burner over his house, scaring his dog. He would like the balloon pilot to be punished.
