Bullock Meets with Outside Magazine’s Best Employers from Montana

By Beacon Staff

Gov. Steve Bullock met with the Montana employers who were selected as some of the top in the country by Outside Magazine.

Bullock invited the businesses to meet with him to talk about the benefits of doing business in Montana, as well as highlighting their efforts to expand their companies, the important role that Montana’s outdoor heritage plays in their businesses and innovative methods they’ve used to recruit and retain employees.

“Montana is a great place to do business, and these employers serve as an example for how to recruit and retain top-tier Montana employees,” Bullock said.

The ZaneRay Group and River Design Group from Whitefish were two of the seven companies from Montana selected as top places to work in the U.S. by Outside Magazine this year.

After the meeting at the Capitol, Bullock and the business leaders took advantage of Helena’s outdoor recreation opportunities by hiking Mount Helena.

“Montana’s hiking, fishing, skiing and other outdoor activities are unmatched,” Bullock said of the hike. “Many of these businesses have leveraged Montana’s quality of life to not only bring new customers to their business, but also to entice talented Montanans to work for their business.”
