Carroll Falls to Ninth in NAIA Football Poll

Carroll College fell six spots to ninth in this week’s NAIA football poll after a surprising 35-31 loss at previously winless Eastern Oregon.

Morningside of Iowa held onto the first place spot, while Cumberlands of Kentucky is ranked second and St. Xavier of Illinois is ranked third.

Three other Frontier Conference teams are ranked in the Top 25 of the NAIA poll released Monday.

Rocky Mountain is up two spots to 16th after a 13-6 win over Montana Tech; Montana State-Northern moved into the poll at 19th after its 33-21 victory over Montana-Western, which fell six spots to 21st.
