Glacier Volleyball Third in Coaches Power Poll

The Glacier volleyball team appears to be peaking at the right time here in the final weeks of the season. The Wolfpack are 14-2 overall and perched atop the Western AA standings with an 8-0 record.

Despite a flawless run as of late, the girls dropped from second to third in the statewide coaches poll. Billings Skyview (16-3) unseated Billings Senior as the top-ranked AA team in Montana. Skyview dealt Senior a rare defeat last week, 25-19, 19-25, 25-15, 25-18.

The recent crosstown match ended in exciting fashion, with Glacier edging Flathead 25-18, 34-36, 25-23, 18-25, 15-9 last week.

Flathead is 11-8, 5-3 and in fourth place in the standings.

The AA teams travel this week to the annual Missoula Invitational before finishing off the season with a handful of conference matches.

The state volleyball tournament is Nov. 14-16 in Bozeman.
