Copycat Neighbor

8:45 a.m. An Evergreen woman reported that someone had broken into her home sometime during the night. She found a small piece of plastic the size of a “sucker stick” and hoped that it could be analyzed for finger prints. No fingerprints were identified.

8:49 a.m. A Kila man reported that his truck had been stolen. It was later recovered after it had been involved in a wreck.

9:22 a.m. A Kila resident called 911 to report that his neighbor is a “nut” and has been copying him. He woke up to find garbage spread all over his house and suspects his neighbor has something to do with it.

10:45 a.m. A Somers man reported that someone had stolen numerous tools from his barn.

11:40 a.m. A woman in a Kalispell trailer park reported that a loose horse wandered through her yard.

11:54 a.m. A resident on Bayou Road in Evergreen reported that someone had kicked his garage door in and stole his tools.

1:02 p.m. A Hungry Horse resident reported that his neighbor, for unknown reasons, came over and threatened to “slam” him on the ground.

2:02 p.m. Someone on Granite View Drive complained that the neighbor’s golden retriever was loose again.

2:27 p.m. Reportedly, the driver of a truck filled with trash break checked another driver and flipped him off. The reporting party admitted to returning the bird.

3:43 p.m. A spotted dog was on the loose on Coclet Lane.
