Two Victims of Kalispell RV Explosion Remain Hospitalized

By Beacon Staff

Two people who were seriously injured in an explosion in a camper east of Kalispell last week remain hospitalized in Portland, Ore.

Officials at Legacy Emanuel Burn Center tell KCFW-TV that Christian Grey Buffalo was listed in critical condition Monday while his mother, Samantha Schlinger, was listed in fair condition.

Officials have not released the name of the man who was in the RV at the time of the Oct. 23 explosion. Initial reports were that he was critically injured and flown to a Seattle hospital for treatment.

Fire officials said a preliminary investigation found a propane leak was the cause of the explosion.
