Coaches Rank Bobcats Fourth, Grizzlies 12th

Four Big Sky Conference football teams are ranked in the top 15 in both The Sports Network and the FCS coaches’ football polls.

Eastern Washington is ranked third by TSN and fourth by the coaches while the Eagles’ opponent this week, Montana State, is ranked fourth by TSN and fifth by the coaches. The Bobcats beat Northern Colorado 35-28 on Saturday.

Montana is ranked 10th by TSN and 12th by the coaches after edging Cal Poly 51-48 in overtime, while Northern Arizona is ranked 14th in both polls.

Montana plays at South Dakota for a non-league game Saturday, Nov. 9.

North Dakota State and Eastern Illinois are ranked first and second in both FCS polls.

In the NAIA, Carroll College remains fifth after its 48-30 win over then-No. 20 Southern Oregon. The Raiders fell five spots after the loss. Rocky Mountain moved up a spot and brings a seventh-place ranking into its game at Carroll on Saturday.
